Shredder is the arch-enemy of the Turtles and leader of the Foot Clan. His real name is Oroku Saki.  Created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, he first appeared in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 (May 1984). The idea for the Shredder came to Eastman when he observed a cheese grater and imagined a villain brandishing similar weapons on his arms. Shredder's story is always intertwined with that of the Ninja Turtles and Splinter, with their battles generating some of the most emotionally charged moments in the franchise. The new Funko POP!
