Venom #200, we get not only the direct consequences of the end of the King in Black mini-series but a look into the history of symbionts and Venom himself.
Cates and Stegman introduced several elements into Venom mythology, such as new villains and long-hidden mysteries about the nature of the symbionts themselves.
We get a glimpse of Eddie Brock, now aged due to the energy drain he now consumes from being the new "King in Black," actually occupying his role as leader of the symbionts, serving as both "warlord" in conflicts and ambassador at critical diplomatic meetings.
At the same time, far from these cosmic distances, the aged Eddie Brock must still serve as a father to his newfound son, Dylan.

Finally, we have a scene with Dylan Brock when he comes across a crime being committed in an alley.
In trying to intervene, Dylan is injured, and at this moment, the symbiote bonds with him for the first time, and they both become the new Venom. The creature assumes the same hideous shape as before but uses chains on its arms instead of web-like forms to attack.
Eddie Brock arrives and gives his approval to his former symbiote and his son, and the symbiote is left in charge of protecting young Dylan. Eddie goes as far as saying that Venom is actually the three of them together.
