Squirrelpool has become a pop culture phenomenon. Introduced in
Deadpool Kills Deadpool #4 (2013) by Cullen Bunn and Salva Espin, this issue would become one of his only appearances.
He was part of the Deadpool squad sent to rescue the original Deadpool from the hands of Evil Deadpool corps.

Since its introduction in 1991, the Deadpool character has steadily built a devoted fan base. Created by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist Rob Liefeld, this character has gone far beyond just being a Deathstroke parody.
While Deadpool alone is a lot of fun, Marvel's expansive multiverse created the opportunity to take the "Merc with a Mouth" in entirely different directions.
