In the comic book world, few villains are more famous than Electro. A master of electricity, he has been giving Spider-Man headaches for years.
But what is it about this villain that makes him so popular? For one thing, his powers are just plain cool.
Who wouldn't want to be able to control electricity?
Plus, he always seems to give Spider-Man a run for his money. Whether teaming up with other villains or going solo, Electro is always a formidable foe.
And let's face it, we love to root for the bad guy.
As any Spider-Man fan knows, Electro is one of the members of the Sinister Six, a group of Spider-Man's most iconic villains.
And while he may not be the group's leader, he is certainly one of the most influential members.
Electro's ability to control and generate electricity makes him a force to be reckoned with, and he has used his powers against Spider-Man on many occasions.
