It's easy to lose track of how many alternate versions of Spider-Man are now swirling around in Marvel's multiverse. But the Time Spinner, Dr. Jamoff "Max" Borne, is definitely one of my favorites.

Max Borne is a very different kind of Spider-Man than most comic book readers are used to. Debuting in the comics in 1995, he had the strength and agility of Peter Parker's Spider-Man, but most of his abilities were actually the result of mechanical upgrades.

His specialized suit had additional mechanical arms, guided and electrified straps, and was even bulletproof. He also had many extra accessories that helped him ensure no anomalies in the timeline.
His job was to ensure that no one crossed timelines where they did not belong, something his own daughter disagreed with.
His daughter was the Hobgoblin Robin Borne, leader of the Temporal Oversight Team Eliminating Mistakes of his timeline, and she ended up erasing her existence thanks to one of their fights!
Borne possesses superhuman strength (capable of lifting 25 tons), agility, and endurance. His armor is bulletproof (except at close range).
It includes guided belts, a webbing-electro, an air supply, four mentally controlled cybernetic arms, visual sensors, rocket boots, and an engine that is capable of time travel. It can wipe minds and use advanced stochastic modeling to predict the most likely future events.
