Vin Diesel and his friends will return to Fast & Furious 10 in 2023. Universal Pictures announced today that the tenth film in the franchise already has a scheduled release date: April 7, 2023. The announcement also confirms that Justin Lin, who directed the last movie from the Fast & Furious, will also return.
The film does not yet have an official title, but it will be the first part of the end of the Fast and Furious main saga, concluding with Fast & Furious 11, which does not yet have a release date.
Fast & Furious 10 will bring most of the main characters from the entire franchise, but – as we already know – it leaves out actor Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who prefers to focus on the Hobbs & Shaw spin-off sequel.
The most recent film, Fast & Furious 9, features Dominic Toretto and his family facing none other than the protagonist’s brother, Jakob. He works alongside Cipher, the villain from the eighth film, and seeks personal revenge against his brother.
The production is directed by Justin Lin. In addition to Vin Diesel, the cast features big names such as Michelle Rodriguez, Nathalie Emmanuel, Charlize Theron, and John Cena.
