Vinyl Figure 4 of 7 – GameStop Exclusive 4-LOM began his criminal career aboard the luxury line Kuari Princess. Due to his highly developed language program, which included seven million different languages, he acted as an intermediary droid between the rich passengers from all parts of the galaxy and the ship's computer. This way, he also obtained valuable information about the guests and their possessions. However, when he realized how careless people generally were with their valuables, he decided to prevent thefts on the ship by calculating the probabilities of when and where a crime would occur. A short time later, the wealthy Dom Pricing came aboard. She was the owner of the Antares Sapphire, which was believed to have mysterious healing powers. 4-LOM realized that this item would be stolen, so he replaced the original with a copy, keeping the original safe with him. However, when the owner of the sapphire recognized the fake, the droid did not return his newly acquired loot because he had taken a liking to steal. Instead, he stole the possessions of several other travelers. Finally, he escaped from the Kuari Princess on the planet Darlyn Boda, where he eventually sold many of the stolen treasures and began a new life. 4-LOM's activities as a thief and information trader soon caught the attention of Jabba the Hutt. He had the droid completely overhauled and its subroutine eliminated against any use of force. The droid was subsequently in the service of the gangster boss and formed a team with the bounty hunter Zuckuss. Their different characters complemented each other perfectly: Zuckuss, the ammonia-breathing Gand, was the impulsive part of the duo, while 4-LOM acted purely rationally. Each tried to learn from the other, especially 4-LOM, who studied Zuckuss` quick-tempered nature carefully. Funko Pop! Deluxe Star Wars: Bounty Hunters Collection – 4-LOM Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure 4 of 7 – GameStop Exclusive Soon the mismatched pair became Jabba's favorite bounty hunters. During one of their missions, Zuckuss had his breathing mask torn from his face. The oxygen inhaled by the insectoid destroyed part of his lung. The expensive medical treatment he needed to recover could only be financed by the two of them through additional risky missions. One of them was the capture of the Imperial Sector Governor Nardix. Also, when Darth Vader sent bounty hunters after Han Solo after the Battle of Hoth, 4-LOM and Zuckuss were on hand. They participated in the Imperial assault on Hoth and destroyed the Alliance ship, Bright Hope. Some Rebels who escaped the disaster were stranded on the planet. The bounty hunters' mission was to hunt them down. Secretly, however, Zuckuss had long sympathized with the Alliance cause. Together with 4-LOM, he decided to switch sides, rescued the crew of the Bright Hope, and took the rebels to the nearest Alliance base at Darlyn Boda. Here, the droid again came across the Antares Sapphire, which had not yet been sold. Nevertheless, he took the jewel, hoping that its mysterious powers could heal Zuckuss` lungs. The Sapphire made his friend fully recovered, and after that, the experienced bounty hunters took on numerous special missions for the Alliance. But they failed in their mission to free Han Solo from his icy carbonite coffin, and 4-LOM was severely damaged. Zuckuss was able to repair his friend, but 4-LOM's memory was wiped entirely in the process. The droid now had a whole new personality, and his friendship with Zuckuss was shattered...
