Dexter's Laboratory was released in the 1990s and became one of Cartoon Network's most popular and beloved original cartoons. However, as much as it was a cartoon aimed at a children's audience, did you know that an episode of the animation was banned for using excessive swearing? Find out below.
This episode was called "Rude Removal" and was intended to be shown during Dexter's Laboratory season 2.

Dexter creates a machine to remove the rudeness of his sister Dee Dee. However, the two fall out and stop inside the equipment, which was turned on during the confusion.
Then, two versions of the siblings emerged: one was polite, while the other was rude and discourteous, so much so that they cussed frequently.
The rude version of Dexter and Dee Dee caused problems: they started insulting their mother with various swear words and destroying the house and the Laboratory.

Ultimately, the well-mannered version of the brothers managed to get the nasties to return to the machine, and everything went back to the way it was before. The episode ends with Dexter and Dee Dee's mother holding a soap to clean her children's mouths, which made Dexter let out a swear word at the end.
Needless to say, Cartoon Network disapproved of the episode and banned it from being shown. However, Genndy Tartakovsky, Dexter's Laboratory creator, managed to show it at some animation conventions over the years, which made it known to the public.
