A couple of years ago, at Toy Fair 2019, Pop Life Global teamed up with the Beijing Imperial Court Cultural Development Company. That collaboration has borne fruit in figures that pay homage to ancient Chinese warriors and soldiers' armor inspired by the museum collections of the Imperial Palace archives.
The Imperial Palace, run by the Palace Museum, is the stately heart of China. Built in 1420 during the first Ming dynasty, it is the best-preserved palace in China and the world's most significant ancient palace structure.
Two years later, Funko wants to do its bit in this collaboration and presents the Imperial Palace series within the Heroes line of Pop! figures.
