The Funko Pop! Marvel Avengers: Endgame - Iron Patriot Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure has dropped today at Funko Shop as an exclusive! The Iron Patriot armor has been through many hands. However, the idea of an armor blending Iron Man and Captain America was so popular with fans that it eventually came to life. First with Norman Osborn with the Dark Avengers. Then in Avengers: Endgame featuring James Rhodes. In Avengers: Endgame, Colonel James Rhodes joined the Avengers in collecting the Infinity Jewels to save everyone Thanos has erased. Like all the other Avengers, Rhodey prepared himself with his armor moments before Hulk put on the Gauntlet and snapped his fingers. However, seconds later, the Mad Titan attacked, destroying the Avengers Compound and forcing Rhodey to eject from his suit. But before the grand final battle between Thanos' forces and Earth's mightiest heroes could begin, Rhodey would put on a new version of the Iron Patriot armor. This new armor was bulkier than any other costume the character had worn before! The Iron Patriot Funko Pop! Seven years after the release of Iron Man 3, the reason Rhodes adopted the nickname Iron Patriot has finally been explained. In the book The Wakanda Files (see it at Amazon), it is revealed that Rhodes himself suggested to the US defense department a new codename for his armor for public approval reasons.
