The zombies in What If...? aren't hyper-intelligent, but the Avengers members sure know how to execute their abilities and use them to their advantage in hunting people down to eat. Falcon can fly, Hawkeye can use a bow and arrow, and Captain America remains skilled with the shield.
Bucky Barnes is forced to confront his zombie best friend when the makeshift Avengers team tries to take a train to Camp Lehigh - and discover more than a bit of conflict along the way. The character is emotionally affected when Okoye kills Falcon in front of him, but everything gets more complicated when Steve Rogers succumbs.

The Cloak of Levitation is the first hero when Bruce Banner is attacked, causing Wong to cut off his head with a portal. However, the accessory is a key figure throughout the episode - mainly for saving Spider-Man from being crushed by a train and eaten by zombies.
While the surviving Avengers were leaving for Wakanda, Thanos made it to Earth after collecting five Infinity Stones - although the villain also became a zombie. Regardless of how he turned undead, the chapter suggests how the character became a deadly enemy... as always!
