James Gunn Confirmed! Suicide Squad Has a Post-Credits Scene

Suicide Squad will have a post-credits scene, director James Gunn has assured on Twitter. Interacting with his fans, the filmmaker confirmed that the trailers for DC’s new release are over, but some commercials will still be released.

Yes, there is a scene after the credits roll, so be sure to stay for that.

No more trailers, sorry. There are lots of clips and commercials coming out but beware: Everything in Suicide Squad is a spoiler. I tried to reveal only what was necessary. So be careful what you watch/read on the internet in the next two weeks if you want to avoid spoilers.

Gunn also assured that the film’s soundtrack would be released. According to the director, “the vinyl is excellent,” and news about it will be revealed soon.

Suicide Squad will use some of the same characters from David Ayer’s original 2016 feature, such as Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman), and Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney). Still, it won’t have as many connections to the predecessor’s plot.

The movie will draw inspiration from the group’s 1980s comics, written by John Ostrander – who even appears in the first trailer – and Kim Yale. Suicide Squad hits theaters on August 6.
