Matt Damon had a brief cameo in Thor: Ragnarok, and now he’ll be back for Thor: Love and Thunder, but will it be for the same role?
In Taika Waititi‘s previous film, he and Luke Hemsworth played actors, who in turn played theatrical versions of Loki and Thor respectively, and it looks like it was such a success that they will be doing it again.
Damon was spotted on the film set in Australia, and since then, the rumors have been growing. Now, in an interview with Sirius XM radio, he confirmed his return and the role he will play again.
“We were kind of reprising a cameo that we, that Luke Hemsworth and I did in the last one. And we had a ball, and so Taika [Waititi] had us back again, to kind of run that joke back and upgraded it a little bit.” the actor said.
In Thor: Ragnarok, Damon played a funny version of Loki, as did Luke Hemsworth, who played his brother, Chris Hemsworth. It looks like the banter, once again, will have no limits in the new God of Thunder movie.
