The Morbius movie should bring more than has been revealed so far, with a small but important spoiler coming directly from Daniel Espinosa, the director.

He has revealed that the presence of Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes, the Vulture, is not the only special appearance in the film, which will also feature Tom Hardy, the role of Eddie Brock, the host of the Venom symbiote.

Daniel Espinosa eventually revealed Hardy’s presence during an interview with the Swedish website MovieZine. He compared experiences of making small productions in Sweden and big Hollywood films when he let the information slip.

“When you walk around there, the recording looks just like a Swedish production, but then when you look at the schedule and read names like Michael Keaton, Jared Leto, Tom Hardy, then it feels cool and very exciting,” he said.

Keaton’s presence has already been confirmed in one of the trailers, but Hardy appearing is certainly a surprise. This way, Sony Pictures begins to shape its Spider-Man universe of villains, including characters like Kraven the Hunter, among others.
