Now you can join the
Guardians of the Galaxy on a mission through space. The new
Funko Pop! Deluxe Marvel: Guardians of the Galaxy - Star-Lord in Benatar Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure - 1 of 6 figures - Walmart Exclusive was unveiled today at
Funko Fair 2022.
Guardians of the Galaxy had a unique design ethos, featuring spaceships bristled with wings and fins that served no apparent purpose but to look cool.
This exclusive figure is part of a larger set that, when complete, will bring the Guardians of the Galaxy together with greater detail than previous figures.

You may remember that Star-Lord Peter Quill's ship name in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie: Milano. The name was given after actress Alyssa Milano, Peter Quill's childhood crush, before Yondu abducted him.
Milano was destroyed in the battle against Ronan on Xandar but later gently rebuilt by the Nova Corps so that the Guardians could roam the galaxy in peace.
And they did that until
Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2, when the ship was again detonated (far beyond the possibility of rebuilding, as Rocky himself said), courtesy of the golden people of Sovereign.
But then came
Avengers: Infinity War, a few years later, Groot as a teenager and, with it, a new ship for the group of intergalactic vigilantes. So you might think it's just, I don't know, a Milano 2. No, no. The SPACECAKE has a new name: BENATAR.
