However, in the Batman saga, one woman has always caught the public’s attention and seduced them: Catwoman. Sensual and intense, the character was so successful that she gained prominence in the movies and became a pop icon.

Michelle Pfeiffer was definitive for the culture of Catwoman idolization. In the movie Batman Returns, released in 1992, the character also looked like a villain but did not hide her love for Batman.

Besides the highly sexy black outfit, she had a whip as her weapon.

Michelle Pfeiffer embodied the most beloved version of the anti-hero Catwoman in Batman Returns, Tim Burton’s film released in 1992.

The movie follows the Batman(1989) events and shows Batman/Bruce Wayne (Michael Keaton) fighting crime after the Joker’s death.

In addition to this tragedy, the character faces a new conflict: his involvement with the thief Selina Kyle (Michelle Pfeiffer) in her Catwoman alter-ego.

In addition to the female presence as an antagonist, the film introduces Penguin (Danny DeVito), another villainous appearance to test the hero’s limits.

It is worth remembering that Michelle has great affection for the role and almost returned as Catwoman in a Batman spin-off, but the project was canceled, giving way to the infamous film with Halle Berry.

Years later, the character was played by Anne Hathaway in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises.
