Colson Baker is a musician originally from Houston, Texas, and quickly became a reference in alternative music, mainly for the musical mix of rap-rock, rap metal, thrash, and punk rock with a bit of hip-hop.

He has gained a reputation for adding enthusiasm to his performances, as he likes to immerse himself in his audience during his live shows.

Starting his music career as a teenager, MGK, as he has nicknamed himself, has achieved unprecedented success, having sold thousands of copies of his albums, including his first, “Lace Up,” which had over 264,000 copies sold as of 2018.

The album also earned the #4 spot on the US Billboard 200 chart. Their subsequent albums have also reached the top spots on Billboard.

He has appeared in several movies, starring in Beyond the Lights as Kid Culprit. He also appeared in Roadies as Wesley before being cast in lead roles in Viral, Punk’s Dead: SLC Punk 2, Nerve, and The Dirt.
