2021 NEW Sinister Six Series – Doctor Octopus Funko Pop!

The new Funko Pop! Deluxe Sinister Six series have just been released! It comprises 7 brand-new unique figures with bases that nest together to form a more extensive set display. Doctor Octopus is the first figure in the series (now available for pre-order at the links below).

Marvel is gearing up for the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the new solo adventure of one of the greatest heroes in its universe.

The new film promises to open the doors of the multiverse once and for all in the MCU by taking Peter Parker and Doctor Strange on a journey through different realities.

Spidey will meet different villains such as Doctor Octopus, Electro, and even the Green Goblin in these alternate worlds. The sum of so many villains makes the audience’s spider-sense whistle: will the Sinister 6 finally reunite in theaters?

The group first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1, a special issue of the comic book written by Stan Lee with drawings by Steve Ditko.

At that time, Spidey already had a vast rogues’ gallery, consisting of names like Chameleon, Lizard, and Green Goblin. So it didn’t take long for the evildoers to unite in their quest for revenge against the Friendly Neighborhood.

Unlike many comic book origins, which can be complicated and involve deep motivations, the Sinister Sextet has a reasonably simple beginning.

After escaping from prison, Doctor Octopus decides to round up five other super-criminals to make Spider-Man pay. So he teams up with Vulture, Mysterio, Electro, Sandman, and Kraven to execute the perfect plan…

The strategy was to fight Spidey one at a time in a specific location that would be prepared to amplify the powers of each of the combatants.

The idea was to weaken the hero with each fight and decrease his chances of victory. The group kidnaps Betty Brant to lure Spider-Man to begin the plan.

Thus begins fights with Electro in a power plant, Kraven in a field where there were jaguars, Mysterio in a building full of illusion machines, Sandman in a sealed metal cell, and the Vulture in the air.

After defeating them all, Peter Parker reaches his final destination, where he fights Doctor Octopus in a water tank. Defeating the last Sinister, he rescues Betty Brant and also Aunt May, who was also taken by chance.
