Star Wars: Visions is an anime anthology in which each episode tells a different story in a different animation style. It offers Star Wars the chance to try totally new things. In fact,
Visions really isn't canon for the franchise.
"The Duel" takes the warriors from a galaxy far away on a historical journey through ancient Japan. The story takes place in an alternate universe where the Jedi exist as noble samurai and the Sith as Mongol warriors.
Ronins are wandering these lands. They give up both sides and fight for their own moral code. With stunning art direction, mixing sepia with bright lights, we discover the nuances of a world that is not so black and white.

Star Wars: Visions is here to shake up the very structures of this fantastic universe that has long been stuck in a nostalgia loop.
This Disney+ anthology was produced by renowned anime studios, without the ties of the current canon.
The proposal was to return to the origins and rethink this very distant galaxy from an oriental perspective, which is where the original inspiration for the franchise comes from.
The result could not have been more incredible.

This Jedi and Sith series is a fantastic anime festival with well-known names in the genre ranging from studios, directing, animation, and voices recognized by many.
The production also stands out because it moves away from the universe's well-known names, such as Skywalker, Death Star, Palpatine, possessing even more freedom of inspiration and creation than the other series of the saga, which makes the series genuinely artistic and original attraction.
The main characters, excluding the occasional cameo, were created just for the series. And even if they are included in a single episode, many leave a significant impact.
Star Wars: Visions is without a doubt a must-see experience, whatever your relationship or starting point in the franchise. It's everything this universe needed to reinvent itself, and nothing better than Japanese animation as a doorway to drive this decision forward.
