Marvel: What If…? – Ravager Thanos Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure – Target Exclusive Back in the eighth episode, we are invited to imagine "What If... Ultron won?" In the episode, we see how the Marvel Cinematic Universe would have a far more tragic fate if Ultron wasn't stopped by the Avengers and able to use the Vision as his new body. Equipped with spectacular new powers and an unstoppable will to fulfill his mission to eradicate humanity and organic beings, the villain begins an absolute conquest. Interestingly, in a scene that takes place shortly after he kills most of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Ultron/Vision is visited by none other than Thanos, already in possession of several of the Infinity Stones. And what rolls around shocks anyone who saw the synthezoid dying at the hands of the Mad Titan in Avengers: Infinity War - "Vision" just uses the Mind Stone's beam on his forehead to "snap Thanos in half." The Mad Titan offers no resistance, nor does he even get to fight with "Vision." In theory, this is because Ultron is in the body of his "son" - but taking into account that the Stone itself gained no new powers because of this, it stands to reason that Vision himself could have done the same in Avengers: Infinity War. However, because he is a hero and has his "humanity," the synthezoid never stood a chance. Next, Ultron/Vision collects the Infinity Stones. Then, it proceeds to destroy the universe where the story takes place - and this eventually culminates in a trip through the Multiverse after he senses the Watcher's presence. The episode hasn't concluded this storyline yet, and we only get to see the results of Ultron's murderous conquest until the next episode, the last of the season.
