Lucasfilm has awarded Star Wars fans with a new Disney + series. After the success of "The Mandalorian," "The Book of Boba Fett," and "Obi-Wan Kenobi," "Star Wars: Andor" is the studio's latest bet.
The series explores Cassian Andor's origins, one of the rebels who sacrificed himself to acquire the plans that led to the destruction of the first Death Star and propelled the rebellion toward success.
The future of the saga on Disney Plus is bright, with "Tales of the Jedi" set to premiere in October 2022, followed by "Bad Batch" in January 2023, and then the return of "The Mandalorian".
In addition, filming of "Ahsoka" is already underway, as is "Skeleton Crew," the second season of "Andor" begins recording in November, and "The Acolyte" follows immediately after that.
