As any hip-hop fan knows, the death of Tupac Shakur in 1996 sent shockwaves through the rap community. In the aftermath of his death, many wondered if the genre would ever be the same.

Two years later, The Notorious B.I.G. was killed, and once again, the future of hip-hop was called into question.

However, B.I.G.’s posthumous album “Born Again” proved that the genre was still very much alive.

The album was released to mixed reviews, but it was clear that B.I.G.’s legacy was still very much intact.

It’s been over 20 years since the world was graced with the posthumous album Born Again from the late, great American rapper The Notorious B.I.G.

Unlike his previous album, “Life After Death,” which was released just two weeks after he was tragically killed, “Born Again” was created without any intervention from B.I.G. Some might say that this makes the album a bit of a mess.

Still, it was a beautiful tribute to the rapper’s incredible talent. After all, who could have organized and curated an album better than the man himself?

I like to think that he would have been proud of the final product, even if it wasn’t exactly what he had initially envisioned.

It’s a testament to the power of B.I.G.’s artistry that even in death, he could still create something truly special.
