Nevertheless, with Holland having played the role for so long, there was some doubt about his continued involvement.
According to Jeff Sneider, Holland has "closed a deal" for the yet-to-be-titled Spider-Man 4, the sequel to Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Although this information has not been officially confirmed, Sneider claims that Holland's new contract includes another trilogy of Spider-Man films and at least three more appearances.
However, it is unclear if this will be within the MCU or Sony's Spider-Man Universe.
