Carol Ferris is the young, beautiful owner of Ferris Aircrafts and the love interest of test pilot Hal Jordan. Carol is also the superhero known as Star Sapphire, a member of the Green Lantern Corps.

Carol was first introduced to the world of superheroes when she was attacked by an alien creature called a Zamaron. The Zamaron placed a gem on Carol’s forehead, which gave her superpowers.

Carol then used her new powers to defeat the Zamaron and become the superhero known as Star Sapphire.

Carol has been a member of the Green Lantern Corps for many years, and she has played an important role in defeating some of the universe’s most powerful villains.

When Carl Ferris, owner of the Ferris Aircraft Company, decided to retire prematurely to travel the world, he appointed his daughter Carol president of the company.

She fell in love with the Green Lantern without knowing that he was actually Ferris’ test pilot, Hal Jordan.

Zamarons Sapphire-Stars, immortal warriors who once lived on the planet Oa (the former base of the Green Lantern Corps), were looking for a mortal woman with a distinguished likeness to be their queen.

They chose Carol and gave her a star sapphire with magical powers. Since Carol wanted to stay on Earth and marry the Lantern, they hypnotized her into becoming the hero’s enemy.

When he defeated her in battle, the Zamarons decided that the mortal was unworthy of being queen and erased from her memory the memory of her being a Star Sapphire.

Carol, however, retained the jewel and the subconscious impulses needed to become Star-Sapphire again.
