Yuuki Asuna, known as Asuna, is one of the main characters in Sword Art Online. She is the daughter of the former RECT Inc. CEO.

Asuna began playing the game as Ondine. She earned the title ‘Berserk Healer’ because, despite her healing abilities, she tends to fight with her foil sword. Her fencing skills put her on the same level as Kirito and serve as a great offensive strategy.

In the Alicization Arc, Asuna joined the account of the Goddess of Creation Stacia, increasing her powers and making her one of the most influential players in the game.

Sword Art Online is an anime series that tells the story of young people trapped inside an MMORPG using a virtual reality viewer. It has been so successful that it has spawned PS3, PS Vita, PSP, and PS4.

Sword Art Online follows Kirito; a young man caught inside the world of the game of the same name as the anime.

There he meets several allies, such as Asuna, who becomes his partner and helps him on his quest to log out of the game – otherwise, his real-world body may die for real, as well as that of other players.

The saga started as a “light novel,” illustrated with drawings in the Japanese manga style. After so much success, the books were adapted into anime, very well received by the public, and soon the success ended up reaching the games.
