Samantha Stephens was supposed to be a typical 1960’s woman, except that – because she was a witch – she nudged all the male chauvinist concepts of the time with good humor. With the simple twisting of her nose, she created magic. The main character of the series The Sorceress (which was aired in the United States from 1964 to 1972, turned into a movie in 2003) is, until today, one of the greatest references of pop culture created on television.
