Dark Nights: Metal is a saga that tells about the influence of precious metals in the DC Universe and how they gave way to the invasion of the Dark Multiverse, inhabited by evil versions of one of the greatest heroes of all time: Batman.

Thus, the saga is also focused on introducing a new metal, “Batmanium,” which is the main influential agent in this otherworldly invasion and holds secrets involving other characters.

After investigating a mystery surrounding an unknown and powerful metal, Batman dives ahead to discover the full scope of this potential threat not only to Earth but to the entire multiverse. Things go from bad to worse when a collection of evil Batmen from the Dark Multiverse emerge, promising to plunge Earth and the whole multiverse into darkness.
