Dia de Los DC Funkoween 2021 Funko Pops have arrived for the Dia de Los Muertos festivities at the DC Universe with a massive variety of great Pop Vinyls.

Your favorite DC Heroes have had a serious makeover! To celebrate Dia De Los Muertos, Batman Bane, The Joker, Harley, and more are ready to celebrate rather than mourning! They’re ready to commemorate The Day of The Dead, and now you can too with these awesome DC Pops!

Dia de Los Muertos is one of Mexico’s greatest traditions, a feast that has become a World Heritage Site and is celebrated between October 31 and November 2 in all Mexican states. The celebration has become one of the pillars of Mexican culture with fascinating and moving syncretic manifestations.

The streets of Gotham are in for quite a surprise when these Dia de Los DC Funko Pop Figures arrive in town! Each character has a new and unique Día de Muertos deco design on a previously releases DC Comics mold, except for two who are character debuts. DC Comics heroes Blue Beetle and Jessica Cruz Green Lantern finally join the DC Funko world for character debuts.

This tradition occurs mainly in Mexico but can also be found in the Central American region, such as Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and the United States, due to the significant presence of Mexicans in that country.

Some historians point out that this celebration has characteristics that date back to ancient times, having its origins in cults performed by the Aztecs, Mayas, Purépechas, and Tetonacas.

These ancient civilizations celebrated the life of their ancestors, making festivities through offerings and abundant food. The skulls of the deceased were kept at that time as a kind of trophy to be displayed during rituals.
