Planet Earth, the year 2805. It has been approximately 700 years since the spaceship Axiom evacuated the last inhabitants of Earth from the garbage dump they had turned their planet into. Since then, humans have been living in giant spaceships that rotate around Earth’s orbit.

However, one lone robot remained on Earth, dedicated to the task it was built for: compacting and stacking garbage. His name is Wall-E.
