More than 50 years ago, Christmas Eve saw the premiere of the last Disney animation approved by the studios’ founder, Walt Disney. The Aristocats, made eternal by the musical “Everybody Wants to Be a Cat“, reminds us that felines also have their social differences: some are happy in confinement, others are stray but free.
The film begins in 1910, in Paris, and tells the story of a wealthy lady who decides to leave her entire fortune in her will to her only family, her four cats. But Edgar, the butler, overhearing what has happened, decides to kidnap the Duchess and her children, taking them away so that he alone can keep the inheritance. But O’Malley, a stray cat, appears and helps Duchess, Berlioz, Toulouse, and Marie return home, but until then, they will have to live an incredible adventure full of danger and music.
