Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is set in Japan, in the Sengoku era, one of the most violent periods in Japanese history. When we start the game, we see a fight between the current leader of the lands of Ashina (where the game takes place) and Isshin, who tries to take power.
In this scenario, we meet Sekiro, until then a child who doesn’t fear to die and is adopted by a swordsman who trains him to become shinobi. As a life purpose, the master teaches the apprentice that he must protect Kuro, a child whose blood carries the power of immortality.
