Black Hand is a very peculiar DC Comics villain. An opponent of Hal Jordan and Green Lantern. Also known as Black Hand, William Hand is best remembered for his role in DC’s 2009 crossover, The Blackest Night.
In the plot, Black Hand served as the Black Lantern Corps leader, a legion of superpowered zombies, each equipped with Black Power Rings. Creating hordes of previously deceased heroes and villains as Black Lanterns, Black Hand has taken the lives of such notable heroes like Hawkeye and Hawkgirl. This means that he is responsible for bringing out “zombified” versions of major DC heroes and villains for a colossal conflict.
