The Green Giant has gone through many phases in the comics. He has been the Gray Hulk, ruled the Planet Hulk, and even caused a World War against all of Earth’s heroes in World War Hulk. However, he has had a rough few years. In 2016 he was killed by Hawkeye in Civil War II and then returned, in Secret Empire, to die again.

In 2017 we had a new Hulk, Amadeus Cho, but Marvel couldn’t stay without their original Hulk for long. The character came back with a totally revamped story, the green Giant now immortal. He can’t be accepted in heaven or hell. He ended up becoming a “spirit of vengeance,” calling him the Demon Hulk, and his story ended up becoming, basically, a horror.
