Funko Pop! Marvel Zombies – Thor Glow – Funkoween 2021

We are halfway to Halloween, and Funko knows how to celebrate with their amazing Funkoween 2021 event. Starting for the new Funko Pop! Marvel Zombies – Thor Glow-in-the-Dark (GITD) Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure – Entertainment Earth Exclusive!

The God of Thunder radiates Asgardian power and looks positively creepy as a reanimated zombie! With glow-in-the-dark decor, this just might be the most frightening Pop! to date.

The Avengers are stricken by an interstellar terror that turns them into cannibalistic freaks. In short, Earth’s most powerful heroes have become zombies. So you might imagine that a human-flesh-predating Thor must not be the most dignified thing possible.

Well, not quite. In the new Thor Glow Funko Pop! we can see the God of Thunder wielding his mighty hammer. This means that, even as a zombie, Thor is still worthy of wielding Mjolnir.

After all, wouldn’t a zombie be immediately corrupted by thoughts of carnage and bloodshed?

Apparently, the zombification process has altered the zombies’ personalities. Therefore, they remain intelligent and able to control their powers.

However, we cannot say the same about their food management. So, although zombies are cunning and manipulative, they are not evil, so to speak. In short, they just have no insight into what is right or wrong. From this perspective, we can say that Thor is not unworthy. He just has a distorted concept of dignity.

Taking this into consideration, it becomes a little more understandable why the character continues to wield Mjolnir. It’s just a thought.
