The new Funko Pop! Animation: Godzilla vs. Kong – Neo City Godzilla (City Lights) 10-inch Jumbo Size Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure – Walmart Exclusive is now available for pre-order in the links below.
Godzilla was released in 1954. The monster was created from the genetic fusion of several species, such as Tyrannosaurus rex and crocodiles. Its wrinkled and scarred skin references the scars that survivors of nuclear disasters carry for the rest of their lives.
Although, over time, the Godzilla movies have become lighter and, in some cases, comical. His first appearance was a dark metaphor about the horrors of war and science and technology evolution.
The film was an unqualified success and was the most profitable debut in the history of Japanese cinema.
Any kind of monstrous monarchy needs to be lead by a king with a kindly attitude. If all they do is tromp around and ruin everyone’s day, nobody is going to have a good day! That’s what we really love about Godzilla. Sure, he’s a massive lizard with some nuclear-level bad breath, but he’s here to rule the world in a wonderful way.
Any fan of the classic Godzilla movie will surely enjoy this Godzilla City Lights Funki Pop. It’s 10 inches of pure Godzilla madness and the ability to instill fear in all your other collectibles!
