Funko Pop! Movies: Mortal Kombat 2021

Inspired by the 90s games, the new action movie of Mortal Kombat is set to hit screens in April 2021! To celebrate this event, a new Mortal Combat Funko Pop! Vinyl Figures Wave is on its way.

Warner Bros. has already released the long-awaited trailer for the new live-action version of Mortal Combat.

As expected, the video shows, in addition to well-known characters – such as Liu Kang, Sub Zero, Sonya, and Scorpion – the characteristic violence of the game franchise. To further increase the anticipation, the teaser shows a clash between two very famous and beloved enemies within the game: Sub Zero and Scorpion. The trailer also reveals other indispensable surprises, such as the presence of Shang Tsung, Goro, Mileena, and Reptile.

The feature film plot will be loosely based on the first game’s narrative in the franchise, which tells of a group of Earth fighters tasked with defending our world in an iconic tournament. To do so, they will have to face warriors with supernatural abilities. And, if they lose, Earth will be overrun by the invaders.
