Marvel Studios’ What If…? is quickly approaching, and fans are eager to learn more about MCU’s animated anthology.
What If…? promises to take the Marvel Universe to previously unexplored places through a simple question: what if major MCU events had happened a little differently? The series will show various heroes and villains in unique situations, ranging from T’Challa becoming the Starlord to Peggy Carter as Captain Britan, among many others.
One of the first revelations in What If…? was seeing Peggy Carter being injected with the Super Soldier Serum and becoming Captain Britan.
In the trailer already released, we get a moment of the character in action, but she is not alone: along with her, we have none other than Steve Rogers, who finds a different way to join the fight and gears up in a suit of heavy armor called the Hydra Stomper.

The What If…? comics were released in 1977 and had over 200 issues, exploring what life would be like if some characters hadn’t died, others hadn’t gained superpowers, and even some downright ridiculous situations.
It was so successful that the concept went beyond its pages, giving rise to characters from alternative storylines, such as Peggy Carter – and inspired DC Comics to launch its own line of alternative stories, “Elseworlds.”
The What If…? TV Series will officially premiere on August 11.
