Funko Pop! Retro Toys – G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes With Timber Funko Pop!  dropped today at Funko Shop as an Exclusive, whose design is reminiscent of the action figure of the 1980s.

I’m not going to lie. I played with G.I. Joe a lot. And among my favorite characters – besides Storm Shadow, of course – was undoubtedly the iconic black ninja (codename: Snake Eyes).

Snake Eyes is a total mystery, but when it comes to G. I. Joe operations, he’s the best there is. Snake Eyes is a natural fighter with abilities that border on the supernatural. His unique blend of skill, stealth, Arashikage ninja training, and strength of character makes him an unparalleled combination: a hybrid ninja-commando who still hasn’t reached the limits of his potential or destiny as a warrior.

Last month, straight from the MTV Movie & TV Awards, Paramount released the first trailer for ‘Snake Eyes,’ the new film in the G.I. Joe’s franchise, which features Henry Golding and Samara Weaving leading roles.

In G.I. Joe Origins: Snake Eyes, we will see the story of the warrior, a member of the Arashikage clan, a group known for their efficiency and ability to complete missions without a trace. Discreet, mysterious, and an excellent fighter, the ninja Snake Eyes will have to face Storm Shadow, a ninja who was once considered a brother by the protagonist but who is now his mortal enemy.

G. I. Joe Origins: Snake Eyes is directed by Robert Schwentke, with Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Brian Goldner producing. The film is scheduled to be released on July 23 this year.
