Sanrio: Hello Kitty x Nissin -  Hello Kitty on Bike, in Noodle Cup, with Noodles and Fork and Noodle Cup Diamond Glitter Funko Pop! Vinyl Figures In the middle of the postwar era, Momofuku Ando helped Japan change the way it ate by inventing an instant chicken and noodle soup prepared with the simple addition of a little hot water. Ando discovered a market for a soup with noodles that was strongly flavored, inexpensive, and very simple to prepare. Obsessed with the idea, he tested different formulas - with a used noodle maker and a giant wok pan - and lost many a sleepless night until, in 1958, he succeeded in creating a new food that became popular and was incorporated into his country's culinary everyday life. The noodle soup became popularly known in Japan as "magic lamen." Half a century later, his invention is still being sold around the world.
