Artist Ralph McQuarrie worked on the first three films in the series and was responsible for the concept and development of the look of characters, sets, ships, and everything that makes Star Wars one of the symbols of world pop culture. It was McQuarrie who defined what C-3PO, Chewbacca, the Death Star, Tatooine, and Darth Vader should look like. And now all his amazing concept art during McQuarrie's ideation stage is coming out in the classic Funko style. In 1975 George Lucas asked the artist to illustrate scenes from the Star Wars script, so Ralph let his imagination flow in line with the concept requested by George Lucas and created the enigmatic and timeless scenes and characters of the Star Wars series, even though he didn't really believe in the film project. George Lucas says that Ralph was the first person he found to help imagine Star Wars. Being that his contribution to the project was genius and eventually inspired the entire cast and crew of the trilogy.
