NYCC 2021: NEW The Mandalorian – Boba Fett Funko Pop!

The Funko Pop! Star Wars: The Mandalorian – Boba Fett Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure is a Funko Virtual Con NYCC 2021 – Walmart Shared Exclusive and will be available at Funko Shop on  October 7th, 2021 at 9 am PT and at shared retailers on October 8th at 6 am PST.

Star Wars is full of iconic characters, but almost none command such instant respect as Boba Fett. The bounty hunter didn’t need many words to win the fascination of fans. But, unfortunately, we never saw much of the mercenary in the movies, not even before his abrupt demise.

But now, Boba Fett has made his triumphant return in The Mandalorian and will return for good in his own series – The Book of Boba Fett.

Boba Fett first officially appeared in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980), but he had been introduced to the public before, in the terrible The Star Wars Holiday Special.

He had few lines in the franchise, appeared rarely, and was never mentioned by another character, except by Leia… in a scene omitted from the final cut!

From the release of The Empire Strikes Back to today, Boba Fett is one of the most beloved characters by fans, who created stories and speculated about every aspect of the character’s life.

In the post-credit scene from The Mandalorian Season 2, we see Boba Fett and Fennec Shand return to Tatooine to take revenge on what’s left of Jabba the Hutt’s empire. He took the throne by force, becoming the new crime boss of Tatooine.

The classic trilogy established that Boba Fett is a brash mercenary who would rather disintegrate his targets than capture them alive. In the new The Book of Boba Fett series, we finally get to see the mercenary in all his glory.
