Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is a spin-off of the popular Naruto. The story now follows the adventures of Naruto Uzumaki’s son, Boruto Uzumaki, and his ninja team, also retelling the events of Boruto: Naruto the Movie.
The manga was created in 2016 and began as an idea to make a sequel to Naruto. With the manga’s success, an anime was created in 2017.
The plot was very successful because while it continues to expand on the original story, with several characters returning, it also introduces a new generation of ninjas. Besides, unlike his father, who grew up as an orphan, Boruto struggles with other inner issues with being a privileged teen.
