Funko Vinyl Soda: Disney The Rocketeer Vinyl Soda Figure – Wondercon and Wondrous Convention 2021, and Funko Shop Shared Exclusive is scheduled to be released on April 23rd, 2021, at 6 AM PT in stores and online.

The Rocketeer comic was created in 1982 by Dave Stevens, and its success was such that it has already become a classic. In 1991, the hero received a film adaptation produced by Walt Disney Pictures and directed by Joe Johnston.

Cliff Secord, an airplane pilot, discovers a prototype backpack rocket hidden under the seat of his plane by two gangsters on the run. After some adjustments, Cliff realizes the dream of every human being: to fly autonomously. During an aerial exhibition, he manages to save the life of a pilot in distress, attracting all the attention, from the most curious to the most malicious.

Thus begin the adventures of The Rocketeer, the flying hero of Los Angeles, who divides his time between facing criminals and keeping a close eye on his beautiful girlfriend, Betty – an homage to Bettie Page.
