Funko Vinyl Soda: Land of the Lost – Sleestak Vinyl Soda Figure – Wondercon and Wondrous Convention 2021, and Funko Shop Shared Exclusive is scheduled to be released on April 23rd, 2021, at 6 AM PT in stores and online.

The Land of The Lost original 1970s series was a family adventure, but the 2009 film turned it into a comedy. It follows the story of a Californian family on vacation by the Colorado River.

Their vacation turns into a nightmare when an earthquake shakes their campsite, sending the Marshall family through a time portal and into the prehistoric period, inhabited by dinosaurs, lizard-men known as Sleestaks, and apemen known as Pakuni.

The Sleestaks are the characters that come to mind when we talk about the Land of the Lost. They are creatures with humanoid and lizard traits, descendants of the Altrusians. They are more developed than the Pakuni, mastering some technology.

Their population is over 7,000 individuals, according to the Library of Skulls in the Lost City, their home. The brightness dims their large eyes, so they retreat to their cocoons during the day.

Sleestaks often capture humans and give them in sacrifice to their god, who inhabits a well. They are oviparous, eat insects, and their civilization is governed by a Council headed by the Sleestak Leader.
