As the ruler of the Underworld, Hades is used to seeing some pretty gruesome things. On a daily basis, he deals with ghosts, monsters, and all manner of undead creatures.

So when Pain & Panic show up at his doorstep, he’s not exactly impressed. Although, to be fair, the two demons are pretty pathetic: they’re small, weak, and completely undisciplined.

But Hades has a soft spot for them, and he can’t help but take them under his wing. As a result, Pain & Panic have become his loyal (if somewhat incompetent) minions.

And though they might not be the most fearsome creatures in the Underworld, they’re certainly the most entertaining.
