Today the Hasbro’s Fan First Thursday Marvel Livestream revealed all comic book releases, starting with the 2nd wave of X-Men Age of Apocalypse figures. The wave will feature Magneto, Rogue, Cyclops, Shadowcat, Saberetooth, Iceman, and Legion.

Critically acclaimed by critics and fans alike, the X-Men Age of Apocalypse saga profoundly shook the mutant universe. In a world where Charles Xavier, Professor X, was murdered before forming the X-Men, humanity has been enslaved by the mutant dictator Apocalypse. The only resistance to the tyrant’s absolute rule lies with a small group of renegade mutants led by Magneto.

In a world where Professor Xavier was murdered before he even formed the X-Men, humanity has ended up enslaved by the mutant dictator Apocalypse. The only resistance to the tyrant lies with a small group of renegade mutants led by Magneto.

This reality is a consequence of Legion’s (Xavier’s son) return to the past, aiming to assassinate Magneto, preventing him from carrying out the various atrocities known throughout the lives of the children of the atom. However, the plan goes completely wrong, and Xavier is murdered at the hands of his own son.

Without Xavier’s X-Men, Apocalypse finds himself free to conquer and shape the world his way, with the survival of the fittest. After Xavier’s death, Magneto carries his late friend’s dream forward: the creation of the X-Men.

An apocalyptic world, new origins, epic battles between good and evil will be present in this saga… and there is only one man who holds the key to the outcome of this saga: Lucas Bishop.
