Created by Hasbro, the Hasbro: Star Wars The Black Series Mandalorian Darksaber Force FX Elite Lightsaber replica is a must-have collectible for any fan of the Star Wars universe. The saber, which resembles a Cortosis Blade (widely used against the Jedi by the Separatists during the Clone Wars and one of the only weapons resistant to a lightsaber), has a black blade with a white light edge and is one of the most remarkable weapons in the universe created by George Lucas.

Hasbro’s Star Wars The Black Series Force FX Elite Darksaber features an upgraded blade form factor and innovative technology that recreates the remarkable features of this, particularly unique lightsaber with an accelerometer that tracks its speed to match the sound effects to actual movement!

A never-before-used innovation in the FX Mandalorian Darksaber is the charging function. Thanks to an included battery and a USB cable, it can be conveniently charged using the domestic plug. Unfortunately,  in the press photos, it is not clear where the charging port is hidden.

Compared to the other sabers, the Darksaber has a shorter blade and emits a louder sound. It also has several uniquely Mandalorian features, including a different blade shape and hilt.

Its blade can be affected by the user’s feelings. For example, it becomes stronger when the user feels more intense emotions. Combined with its unusual ability to draw another saber’s blade during a duel, the Darksaber is a particularly powerful weapon, especially in the hands of a powerful Force user.

However, unlike a common saber, the Darksaber is just as deadly in the hands of a Jedi or Sith as it is when used by a warrior with limited knowledge of the Force. This is the reason why non-Jedi like Sabine and Bo-Katan can use it effectively in combat.

It is the same reason why Gideon almost defeated Din during their fight in the final episode of the Mandalorian’s second season. Thanks to his anger and rage, the weapon was just as destructible in Gideon’s hands as it was in Maul‘s.

Also, given the fact that the Darksaber is such an important status symbol in Mandalorian culture, it typically needs to be earned in combat, and anyone who wields it will always be targeted by those looking for a way to gain power.

This makes it an even more powerful item for anyone to wield than an ordinary lightsaber, which Din will no doubt discover when his story continues in The Mandalorian season 3.
