Loungefly Star Wars Mustafar Square Mini Backpack will be available for pre-order starting June 1st at 12 AM EST.
“Mustafar is a lava planet, terrible place, full of awful mines. There’s a custom there to jump lava flows and…well, you’ll see.”
The volatile, volcanic planet Mustafar creates a red hot, brooding scene on this Loungefly Star Wars mini backpack. Featuring Darth’s lair, the forboding looking Fortress Vader surrounded by molten lava, this is one red-hot vision to behold and will be a total joy for those who like to dabble in the dark side of Star Wars.
Much of the mythology and secrets of Star Wars are contained in the pages of books, comics, and games. And it was precisely these that revealed that a planet already known to the fans is present in the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, but nobody really noticed.
At the very beginning of the movie, Kylo Ren is seen in a forest, killing enemy warriors and causing destruction, all to find a tracker that would lead him to Exegol, where Darth Sidious is hiding.
This planet is actually Mustafar, where Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker had their legendary duel and where Darth Vader’s castle seen in Rogue One was once located.
The information is revealed in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, which contains details and precious information about objects and places shown in the movie. Some of them can change the whole context of several scenes.
If you found the presence of trees in Mustafar strange, there is also an explanation for this. In the game Vader: Immortal, which takes place on the planet, we learn that it was once a beautiful and green world whose balance was preserved by the Bright Star artifact.
But with the death of her ruler, Lord Corvax, the queen modifies the crystal to be used in a desperate attempt to revive her husband. Consequently, all-natural life on the planet is destroyed, turning it into the lava hell we saw in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
