Baby Yoda surprised the world in that first episode of The Mandalorian, in which he is discovered in a floating cradle by the mercenary sent to retrieve him.
After seeing his big eyes, pointed ears, and small hands, the whole world decided that this mysterious child had to be protected at all costs, and everything possible had to be done to discover his identity, his history, and his obvious connection to the legendary master who taught Luke Skywalker everything about the force: Yoda.
But Jon Favreau had other plans and wouldn’t tell us anything about Baby Yoda until the right moment.
Many things have happened in this season of The Mandalorian (although the most talked about was Baby Yoda committing genocide by eating the last eggs of a race on the verge of extinction).
The relationship between Mando and The Child (who has not been easy to take care of) has become stronger.
Ashoka Tano appeared to destroy his enemies with two lightsabers on the planet Corvus and, finally, she revealed the most important information about the little green boy.
There’s still a long way to go in Baby Yoda and Mando’s story, but at least we already know that his name is Grogu. And the best part is that Baby Yoda gets even more adorable every time he hears Mando says his name.
