The Pride Pop! collection is a celebration of inclusivity and acceptance. DC is in the spotlight for this year’s Pride Month collection. The set features an LGBTQ+ friendly crew composed of Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and Robin. In addition, to further show its support for the LGBTQ+ community, Funko has donated funds to the It Gets Better Project, an organization that empowers LGBTQ+ youth around the world. Although other dates as important as this one exist in additional months of the year, it is June 28th that is marked as the date symbolizing the fight for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community around the world. The date originated through a protest in 1969 in New York, and that took over not only America but the whole world, being remembered (and celebrated) to this day.
